The Northwood Community Development District (“District”) is an independent local unit of special-purpose government created pursuant to and existing under the provisions of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
A Community Development District (CDD) provides the "solution" to Florida’s need to provide valuable community infrastructure generated by growth, ultimately without overburdening other governments and their taxpaying residents.
CDDs represent a major advancement in Florida’s effort to manage its growth effectively and efficiently. This allows a community to establish higher construction standards, meanwhile providing a long-term solution to the operation and maintenance of the community’s facilities.
Dear Residents,
If you received a letter regarding the upcoming wall project, it means your property will be directly impacted by the upcoming construction project.
Please note: if you have any items such as fences, plants, gardens, or other structures located along the area where the wall will be built, you will need to move them prior to the start of the project.
If you do not have any items in the affected area, no action is required on your part.
